It’s Friday, so Just Relax™

“Relax and refuse to let worry and stress rule your life. There is always a solution to every problem. Things will work out for you when you take time to relax, refresh, restore and recharge your soul.”

— Lailah Gifty Akita

While not inherently bad, stress can easily get out of hand if we’re not careful. And we humans have a bad track record with stress management. We often turn molehills into unconquerable mountains that we attempt to brute force our way through. Here’s an idea, why not adopt a relaxation mindset instead? Acknowledge problems and setbacks without letting them overpower you. When you get stuck, don’t stubbornly plow ahead. Take a break, step away from the work at hand, and decompress. Step outside or go somewhere not associated with work and just unwind a bit. You may be surprised at how easily solutions find their way to a calm and focused mind.

Time to relax

Enjoy your weekend 🙂
