Watch now: Best use cases for CouchDB

Earlier this year Lorna Mitchell, Developer Advocate at the IBM Watson Data Platform, spoke about CouchDB and PouchDB at the Dutch PHP Conference in Amsterdam. While we shared her slides from that presentation in the weekly news around the time she spoke, the folks at the Dutch PHP conference have recently released the video from her talk, so now we can share that with you!

In CouchDB, PouchDB and Offline-Tolerant Apps, Lorna introduces us to a behind the scenes look at the magic that allows CouchDB to reconcile two databases that have been offline from one another for some time–even with conflicting changes. She also presents the best possible use cases for CouchDB and walks through some of the noticeable differences of version 2.0.
