The Apache CouchDB development team is proud to announce the immediate availability of version 1.7.1.

1.7.1 follows shortly after 1.7.0 because some users have noted an unintentional breaking API change involving _all_docs and database members, barring them from updating from 1.6.1 or earlier to get away from a vulnerable version of CouchDB.

1.7.1 includes one extra commit over 1.7.0 that fixes this issue.
For download options, see the download section of the main CouchDB website:

  3. Hi Dinesh,

Keep in mind CouchDB 1.x is no longer supported. We never made binary downloads for CouchDB 1.7.x on Mac that I’m aware of.

That said, you could try building your own installer from the source code here: https://github.com/janl/couchdb-mac-app

You’ll need to use an older revision of that repository, something like https://github.com/janl/couchdb-mac-app/tree/76a9d813af72b8848f33c4fabce9c46dead868ad and you’ll need the associated old XCode. Good luck.
